why do wakeskaters wear shoes?????? there is grip tape on the boards(not our idea) and the wood it's constructed out of will cut the shit out of your feet... i didn't build the place. just go out and have fun at it

yes, normal wooden boards that have wax or traction pads on them, not grip tape. and flatland riding in rivers on sand, not wood that will fuck your feet up ..

Of course not. But the quarter pipe was not suposed to give speed to the skimmer. The idea was just to drop it and make some tech trick when you arrive in the sand. For example... if you drop it and dont fall down you get a 5. And if you drop and make a big spin in the sand you get a 7. It can sounds a little bit stupid, as this quarter pipe seems easy for you guys, but we've never seen something like that in Brazil, so it wasnt so easy...

Yeah, red bull always want to do something diferent, inovate. So instead of a normal skim contest, you had 8 to 10 minutes to drop the ramp, get 2 waves in a winch and catcha a normal wave. The highest three grades were add and who had the highest score won.

Because where I live there is no surf. There's barely skim, so I travel an hour to skim. I don't understand why you would skim a quarterpipe... It makes no sense at all.
