hey, just wanna talk about it.
it's nice they updated it FINALLY. and now the flash version of the site also works (which wasn't the case with the old one on my pc)
but they did make a BIG internet mistake much people do: put something on the net before it's finished.
the accecories page isn't up yet, just as the media page. (just when i wanna take a look at their boardbags:mad:)
and they forgot to put their top board art on...

We could have built out media but then you would be viewing the whole site and teaser three weeks from now. now you get to see the whole site now, and then hopefully the media section soon. it might take a little more than three weeks with this movie though

and top art is all 08 07 06 etc... we are lookin to the future dude...

lol try customizing, testing and implementing a CMS site that actually looks good while functioning properly. It would be cool if you titled this thread with good intentions i.e. "Some erros on the new page: a list of overlooked items" Don't call out on something you don't know about, it's not flash its JS.

it looks super cluttered at times.
and, idk if you will get what im saying here but..up at the top where it says news, team, product ect..the font is like straight stock. to me it looks sorta unprofessional i guess. not just there but that all caps stock text bothers me for some reason. i feel like it should be like some cool font or somthing.

but i think the rest is super sick.

I actually experienced this myself a couple times yesterday. It was still accessible via IP which means that the problem was associated with the domain name transfer to the new server. Its supposed to take 36 hours or something. I think it will work itself out as the new DNS information propagates to all corners of the WWW.

I think the straight font is one of the more plain elements on the site. I have an idea I have been trying to get straight in my head about how I could spruce it up. But at the same time, it would make it "more cluttered"... :)

Simply changing fonts doesnt really work on non-flash sites. And there are a lot of reasons to avoid flash.

i kind of get the same sensation. my screen res is 1024x768, and i feel like i have to side scroll and navigate a lot to see everything. however, if i just zoom out a lil bit on the page, it all looks perfect.

according to my tests (http://www.unk.edu/website/index.php?id=2184#) you shouldnt have to side scroll at all at that resolution.

are you sure you are at 1024 resolution? cause thats what I designed for.

other than that the site is awesome.

The conditions you ride are critical to choosing the right board size. A rider of a given weight who rides powerful shorebreak will generally want a smaller board than someone who rides weak/small waves.

example:

if you weigh 175 lbs there are four hybrid shape sizes that are recommended for you, depending on how fast you run and what kind of waves you ride.

if you run super fast and only ride the heaviest shorebreak, you might consider a MS
If you run sorta fast and ride poweful waves most of the time you might consider a med.
if you run average speed and ride varied normal conditions, ML might be the best bet.
if you are kinda slow and ride mostly weak waves, then Large might be the best choice.
