Its where the Holts live. They run all the other contest and prob just wanted one at their home beach. Anyone can have a skimUSA event if you meet the criteria. I think it really helps the scene there too. I thought the waves were good, just not reachable. Had a fucking sick time w/ paddle ins and body surfing.
