After a slow start Cabo fulfilled on it's promise of an even better day and it looks like the unofficial contest is going to happen tomorrow. Too many pictures to go through right now and I'm only going to have spotty internet service the next week but I'll post a few when I can.

Yeah, Lover's sider is as good as it gets and even spots on the corridor were throwing siders, Today was a good day even by Cabo standards.

edit: if tomorrow is 1/2 as good as today was it will be some of the best contest conditions ever.

Day 1 of the contest was sick. Although it wasn't as good as yesterday it was glassy and sidering all day long. Probably the best contest conditions I've seen in person. Not as big as last year's Cabo contest but cleaner and much more consistent.

thanks Steve. If Tommy is bummed now someone might need to be on the watch when he sees today's shots. Yesterday was good but today was nothing short off epic.Not only was it the best contest conditions i've ever seen but it was the best I've ever seen Lovers. Sheet glass with insane connections from the moment we arrived and was still firing an hour ago when we left. In one of the 1/4 finals Scrappy and Bill were battling it out wave for wave in what was one of most impressive displays of skimboarding I've ever seen anywhere.

I was there and I still don't believe it.

After viewing the pictures on this thread and the comments both Steve and Sean have made due to my survival standpoint... I have officially ended my professional skimboarding career due to the cancelation of this contest and am going to continue my pursuit in becoming a professional golfer with Steve Taylor as my mentor. I am absolutely disgusted with the fact of my absence from this Cabo experience and I can not bear to witness anymore of its awesomeness. Sean your pictures bring tears to my eyes.
