CA this summer

Im going to Pasadena, CA around the L.A area this summer for a month, and I was wondering where are the nearest skimspots, how far is the Laguna area, and is it always flat during the summer(is it worth bringing my board).

Well, I can either bring a skimboard for 75$ from FL to LA, then pay 75$ for it from LA TO FL, then pay 75$ for it for FL TO Barbados,Then 75$ for Barbados to FL.



or Pay 150$ total from FL-Barbados

or i could buy a board in CA, but thanks as always George and Raj for your replies.

what part of pasadena..? i used to live next to the projects over there(east northside)...now in altadena...careful of the colors you wear around that hood...blood neighborhood...

then furthur south you go the longer it takes...

malibu is about 40 miles..ventura is a little north of that and is 10-15 miles further....

org org beach is about the same...

newport is 45-50

laguna is around 60-70 depending...

WE HAVE TRAFFIC...KEEP IN MIND THE ADDED TIME

if summa time...then you got a lot of places to skim...except org org beach...

say its a boogie or snowboard or boogie snowboard...it ALWAYS works...and if you hold it vertically next to you they see it is shorter than YOU...

use the boogie board story but put sliced noodles or other foam packaging on the rails and wrap the board with that in towels on the way then towels+a few dirty clothes on the way back. california is far from flat during the summer..and when you're from florida any skim above waist is good skim.
