nah, just too fast in general. Obviously I don't come from a video background, but like your running is just so fast. I've noticed on surf videos that parts with slower songs, they slow down the surfing a tiny bit so you know its slow mo, but its not *really* slow motion. I dunno. never mind me. haha

Nice video. Good song, some nice rides, but I have agree with steezy that there was less steez that more- definately. I'm not hating, just saying that your style, along with everyone's (with few exceptions), has a lot of room for improvement.

My view of steez is anything that catches me by surprise. But for a person to be labeled steezy it's gotta be over and over again. If you look at every video with Harley Nelson in it, you'll see something you've never seen from another skimboarder. He has is own way of doing things. You might have had steez on a few rides, but I wouldn't label ya steezy.

Steez may be an opion only because different people interpret it in different ways. So, Allow me to clarify my definition of steez and if anyone else sees it as something different, please share.

Steezy- A smooth style of skimboarding in which the rider's maneuvers ,though very difficult to execute,appear as if he or she is not trying very hard and that it comes naturally. This mean no flailing arms, jerked movements or looking like you are about to lose balance.

Other skim styles might be "Powerful" (noogie) , "Floaty" (Corbin DUll).

These are my interpretations of Style and by this definition of Steez, that video did no display very much.

Awww will come on now. That is no way to be. Don't you know that style is a big part of skimming. If you think about it while skimming, you will notice that in an effort to improve your style, your skimming will also improve. It a good thing to think about while skimming. :)

Hah sorry I didn't mean my post to sound like it was calling you out. My post was intended for the riders who were debating what steezy was, not to prove you wrong. And yeah like Micah said, style is what makes one skimmer more enjoyable to watch than another.

well since i started this, let me clarify

i haven't skimmed with will in a long time, and he has definitely improved since i have. seeing him nail or almost nail those big spins, shuvs out to waves, or front side ollies , it was something i didnt expect from him, like you defined steeze as.
