I got my plane tickets to California so as of Tuesday I'll be living with Derek and doing an internship with FSM until May. Super stoked.

I also just found out that on top of graduating Graphic Design with honours in a week I was in the top 8 in my entire program and have been nominated to participate in the Scholarship Art Show.

I had to do 126 hours in order to graduate but because they really had no way to monitor it down there my program co-ordiantor wanted me to do one more locally with a larger company. So I did a few weeks at a firm called Signz n' Designz here and then offered to come down and help Derek on FSM when that finished up.

Yeah, I'm into hardcore and edge hardcore. I more or less live the lifestyle but hate the label so I don't really call myself edge. Plus edge is a lifetime commitment, my choices work for me now but maybe in 2 months I won't care anymore.

If sand on the bottom is not enough, you can put sand on top in the middle of the board where you don't stand and when you hit the water most of it will wash off. I first did this back in the 80's and told Tex about it and soon everyone was doing it. And now it looks like someone thought of putting sand on the bottom, which sound better........evolution.

Yesterday Derek and I went to Doheny Beach and skimmed for a bit and I started to get things down a bit better. I also started some design work for an upcoming article.

Today we went to Sam's (Derek's girlfriend) bosses house and hung out around the pool and hot tub and then played some games for a while. We just stopped in at In-n-Out for the first time and it was pretty great. Now I'm getting ready to take a shower.
