Greetings:
I speak on behalf of the National Collegiate Skimboarding Association when I say that we really appreciate everyone who came out to this year’s College Skim-Off. With around 60 competitors and 8 schools attending, the event was a really fun time for all who attended.
We are a growing organization and recognize that we still have a lot to learn. We will progress, and we will continue to work towards hosting professional events that will help to propel the sport of skimboarding towards the professionalism we all hope to attain. As we grow as an organization we will continue to strive to improve the image of skimboarding at large through the events that we host and the things we do as an organization.
At next years College Skim-Off, we will:
have a paid judging staff
not accept beach entries
strive to arrange the contest’s events around the tide more efficiently
Media from the event:
Be sure to check out the article about the event in the next issue of Foreverskim Magazine.
On the College Skim website (http://collegeskim.com/?p=428), there is a media gallery with pictures from the event.
