Changing the titles of threads? Mods only?

Can only the moderators change the original title of a thread. On the old mb you could edit your thread and change the title everyone sees when you get new pics and stuff. But on this one when you push edit, it only allows you to change the mini title over each post.

I know it can be done, but is it a moderators only privilege? I was reading the FAQ too, isn't there a way to allow regular users this privilege?

Going Advanced does not change the main title of the page. It only changes the mini-title over each post.

See, in the first post, I went to edit, and advanced, and I took the Mods only part out, and it doesn't change the main title. But it was a simple thing to do in the old mb, and I think it can be allowed on this one...

I looked into it and couldnt figure it out. I think you are suposed to be able to do it, I just cant figure out how. There is probably a setting somewhere...

You can change your own thread title, but only for a short amount of time after you make the thread. If you want to change it, try double clicking on the thread title in the forum listing, and you may be able to. If so, an edit box will show up and just type in the new title, then click outside the box.

Other than that, I think only mods can do it. Well, I know only mods can, but I'm not sure if there's something you can change so that any member can change his own thread title.
