I made some new rules for industry users. Please see the announcement. If you have questions, ask away. Any users who need help changing their usernames, please post your request here.
Team Riders and Industry People, please modify your signatures as requested and make sure your user names are in compliance with the new rule.
I feel that if we do this it will help make skimonline a more transparent and user friendly place.

I understand why I'm just wondering why you can't put a link to the site that you own.

You cant put links to company sites that you have an economic interest in signature because thats advertising.
If you have "Johns personal webpage/blog", thats okay.

I believe it's a good idea, it will really clarify who people are. This way we won't get these semi-industry involved people under random names giving their incredibly biased two cents without knowing who they are. And i'm tired of blatant advertising in sigs, posts, and names. Hopefully this helps.

Its almost too bad we have to do it this way, but honestly I think its a pretty good idea anyway. I dont have to change jaleez into jaleesa koevoet right? no one calls me jaleesa haha
It does look  with the Z.
