I'll take a pick of our garage fridge loaded with fish (in bags :D)
This mostly Pompano, but a few bags of Whiting and one *big* bag of Sheephead (which I dig on me some fried Sheeps):

That is my kind of refrigerator/freezer
Yeah, you can get a fridge that stays cold and is just a little beat up at the scratch~n~dent for $100-150 and it's totally worth it for an extra freezer plus a place to keep beverages.
That's actually the original one from the kitchen, it's ugly and rusted, but it keeps things cold. Plus having beer outside is sweet for car and yard projects :D
Sorry, that derailed the fish thread a little.

It'd be worth to avoid having to buy bags of ice when you want to get your shit cold because theres no room in the damn fridge. God damn food...

I'm a huge fisherman. Its by far my favorite hobby, even over skimming.
I have a house up in the Catskill Mountains in NY. There's arguably 3 of the best fly fishing rivers up there that I fish all the time.

I got this shark in the Great Bay at home in Jersey. He had some teeth on him.

DT. Is that fish like frozen in water as well? I was just wondering, it looks like it, and I was wondering if that was some old oracle's way of preventing freezer burn?
Oh and I dont have any recent pics of my fish, haven't done that in a while.
The snook bite has been popping off over on this side of the state. Along with the biggest trout I have ever seen in my life!! I saw a school of specs on Thursday and all of them were between 26 - 30 inches. Massive trout!!!

Yeah, my Dad always chills it on ice, cleans it same day (usually right down at the point) and then tops off the bags with water - he claims it prevent burn and keeps the texture (vs. getting "mealy").
P.S. Somebody get that kid a sandwich.

you guys really never freeze with water???
Most of the time I vacuum seal. really the best way to keep the fillets fresh and assure no air is in there.
If i dont have my vacuuming machine I fill the ziploc with water and squeeze all the air out (air is what is causing the freezer burn...and bacterial growth). One trick I use is put the ziploc with fillets in a bathtub and put the bag under the water and zip it under water. It assures no air gets in. they will last months.
As for pictures, i hit a couple of the bass ponds that are hot with spawning fish over my spring break. Also went 11 miles off Englewood on some snapper holes and limited out on mangroves. A couple porgy, grunt, triggerfish here and there. Tried to get on some amberjack but they werent havin the squirrel fish.
This was at some golf course/driving range ponds. It was pretty scary on the driving range. Its a pond with floating golf balls...had a couple near misses.
Overall the day we caught about 30 bass between two heads and only fished about an hour before gettin the boot. A lot of fish in the 2-3 lb range with some bigger ones here and there.
