I've tried rails in a windy day with a bad woody board...Couldn't do much .hehe.
When there are little water pools near the beachbreak we do some 360 shuv-its,bigspins,stuff like that but no rails.

2 sided as in can you flip it over? It's just a flat slider with a kick. We just used plexiglas instead of PVC.

how does the plexiglas do? like does it slide better by any chance?

It slides amazing for a while but sand sits on it and scratches as you ride it. We also had a guy put his foot through it which ended up with a decent sized cut across the bottom of his foot.

yeah sand on that would be worse then sand on pvc pipes...is it easier to like bend it, or have more flex than pvc pipe?

Yeah, we had 1/4" so it bent super easy. It probably would have been great if we put plywood on top of our box so the plexiglas wouldn't break. The only issue was the sand which probably would have been fine too but a few guys around here can't do ollie on rails so the sand gets dragged up onto it so much when we set it up as a ride on.
