vero or indialantic in january?

I found a really good hotel rate for either the crowne point a little north of indialantic or the holiday inn at vero, jan 5-9th. Where would be the best bet to get some fun skim?

vero. skim used to be rly good right behind the crown but now its all flat and full of rocks. no fun anymore.

vero has been good lately the past week but check the wind and if it is windy the dont count on vero and the holiday inn is one of the best spots so you dont have to drive any where
