he said thats how he wanted his name spelled, even though it makes no sense to me.

He said either "James" or "Hi-me", which phonetic at least I guess...

hey luis, so everyone in born in mexico gets a birth certificate? Is that the main form of identification in mexico? In the US everyone uses social security cards/numbers. Do they have anything similar in Mexico? What happens if you dont have one of those kinds of ID?

And, I think I remember hearing something about Newport Beach too, now that you mention it Max..

the most important ids in mexico are the passport and the id that allows you to vote and demostrate that you are 18 years old and something named CURP everyone in mexico have a codenumber its something more complicated........but yeah also the birth certificate is one of those......

Yes Aaron, everyone who is born in Mexico gets a birth certificate. Not everyone in Mexico has social security, to have social security you must be working and pay taxes.
The most useful IDs in Mexico are birth certificates, and as Oscar said and ID that allows you to vote at the federal elections as well to demostrate that you are a mexican citizen.
