i shouldnt have to glue my pads down and had to replace two tail pads on my old exile because they suck. I applied pads on all of my friends boards. skimshop and freaks and there pads havent peeled once. The company may have a soft grip... but that doesnt matter when their product cant even stay on the board like its supposed to do.

end of august is the best time to come man. it gets big here. PM me closer to the date, ill let you know whats working and best tide and shit to get there. NY is probally the most underrated spot in the US, we get some really good skim, for some reason we are always overlooked.

not sure about jones beach but cedar beach where i go doesnt technicly open till like 8 or 9 so if you get there before then you dont have to pay parking fees.

ill let you know closer to the date, the fee...what fee just say delaware north one thirty-five and they let you in for free. its the park code for employees. if you dont believe me the fee is 8 bucks. but jones beach is sometimes a high tide spot and sometimes a low tidee spot so ill let you know closer

the forecast looks pretty sweet. and i got a place to stay in the city about 45 mins or so from jones so i might skim monday as well. the place in PA i am going to first supposedly has little to no cell phone reception so hopefully my phone works or hopefully can access a computer to figure out how the waves will be.

8$ isn't bad either and i don't mind supporting a state park. You can skim any time too right, don't need to wait for lifeguards or any bs? will it be extremely crowded?

I hate to say it but this entire summer kind of lacked alittle, there was some good skim here and there, but lots of flattened out beaches. Let alone the fact that there was in total 4 sunny days in june, which fucked everything up. I was so stoked for this summer and it ended up kind of sucking. I didn't have much fun until the mid/end of august and up until about 2 weeks ago. I haven't skimmed since but it's getting depressing already. With a good solid 5-6 months before we can really actually skim again the only thing i can look forward to is snowboarding. Normally I sit inside all of winter, jerk off to bearded and other assorted skim movies, and dream its was 90 degrees out, so this year im doing somthing new and trying snowboarding

i just went from a 3/4 exile hybrid to a ms 5/8 exile proshape. I rode it once and could still float out as far, but waves sucked so i cant tell you much there. next time i go out ill let you know if i like it more
