personally i hate 3/4s i rather have 5/8 with the ability to go really fast an make steezy turns. us NY/NJ skimmers do not need float at all, we get nice strong waves. the only reason you should over a 3/4 is if your mike blazowski or your skimming the gulf when they have no amazing swell an its ankle high
