nah, when you use the contact form in the magazine it doesn't check to make sure the email you enter is legitimate.

so the person used "learn2filmderek@hotmail.com" instead of a real one.

the unzoomed footage wasn't filmed by me. that's what i hoped to clarify by writing back...if you look at each Woody's Video Corner, it credits myself, Adam Hayward and Woody for most of the filming. the unzoomed footy was filmed during Hayward's first few days learning to film, so although it's correct criticism, it's still outdated.

like i said, i appreciated the criticism, it was just misdirected. and hayward has gotten leaps and bounds better at filming since then. for the record.

the only criticism I had to make was that I wanted to see more of the wave with Domke's big bail on the ginormous wave. I had to watch that part like 5 times just to grasp the size of that thing
