they are really worth it. I feel a lot more, for lack of a better word, traction. lol

and you can also kinda tell where one the board your foot is.

astrodeck is smooth, and it sticks really well to your feet.

From the research I did, I found that more people chose the Astrodeck Beakers because of their comfort and grip.

when i used my friends astrodeck, it seems like my foot would slip around the pad... i didnt like it. and then last week i was just chillin and this kid had his back pad like.. if you had a normal back pad, and put on right in front of it, thats where it was.. and i was like uhhh why do you have it up so high? and he's like well thats where my foot lands when i jump in it. it was some kooky shit

Well Im getting a new board soon and Im debating whether to just go ahead and get another Astrodeck Arch or a Poorboy Arch.. Ive never ridden a poorboy one but I do love my Astrodeck Beaker Arch. Id love to hear benefits of each type, if there are any main differences, or preferences.

My current set up on my Zap is Xtrak back pad and front Beaker Astro. I like it, but my Exile coming in is gonna have the Beaker back and beaker front.

I have a beaker back and a beaker arch bar. I use to like X-trak more, but after riding astrodeck I never wanna go back.

i think i have made up my mind.

astro deck

but how long? and wide?

I would go with the back beaker pad and the 18'' beaker arch bar if I were you.

SteveTaylor

I like the astrodeck beaker better than the poorboy ones because the poorboy one's don't stick up as much and they feel slicker to me then the beaker arch. but fuck both of those...

Eventhough you've made up your mind... I feel the poorboy arch bars give you more traction per area covered. If you shove it, or ollie there's plenty to go around. It's really long and your feet will more likely always land on your arch bar.

SteveTaylor
05-22-2006, 12:49 PM
you love that it's really long.
