be jealous

i hear vapors hurt your feet because they are so thin and they fall apart easily. Ive always went with predators. On top of it, those things are ugly as sin.

02-10-2008, 12:42 PM
the new vapors are ugly as fuck. if you're gonna go with nike, get legends. otherwise, go with preds; they're always a great all around shoe.

02-10-2008, 12:46 PM
I have a pair of old hand-me-down Pumas...and they're the shit.

02-10-2008, 12:47 PM
yea you can never go wrong with a solid pair of puma kings or adidas copa mundials. I remember when both were the shoe to own.

02-10-2008, 12:50 PM
im a fan of the total90s. i've tried both vapors (KILLED my heels and fell apart) and predators (no complaints really, except that the cleat part wore down pretty fast) but like the total90s better than both of them. they're more comfy, the cleat part lasts longer, and since they now have the rubber stuff on the upper (similar to predators) which i like.

02-10-2008, 12:52 PM
those are sick, ronaldinho style. i don't play soccer but i do play baseball and i rock the white pumas.

02-10-2008, 12:52 PM
change the color scheme and those cleats would look sick,

02-10-2008, 01:19 PM
those are the worst cleats ever.. next to the tunits.. plastic cleats are shite.
predators and legends ftw

02-10-2008, 01:23 PM
Ive always went with predators.

have I told you how smart you are?

Since the John Harkes in like '96, i've never owned a different pair of boots. Even after going deep into nike cup, i gave the free shoes to my friend. There are no better boots than the predators. End of story.

And to stay on topic, those nikes are gay.

02-10-2008, 03:02 PM
Not the right kind of flashy imo. grab some sick pumas.

addidas predators ftw

02-10-2008, 03:54 PM
congrats, you are wearing pumpkins with spikes on your feet.

02-10-2008, 04:47 PM
my friend wore the football vipors and damn. did they tear up his heal. shit was the longest break in period i've ever seen. easily like took like 18 practices during the summer of two-a-days and once he broke them in his feat were so torn up that he kept getting new blisters

02-10-2008, 05:08 PM
for the last 2 years ive just gone with the vapors , they don't last long ( I go through 2 pairs a season ) and it seems very wasteful , but they are the lightest boot i have ever worn and has the most feel out of all the boots i have ever tried. I love em .

02-10-2008, 05:15 PM
nike 90s ftw

02-10-2008, 05:33 PM
you no want other sports! you want skimboarding!:D

02-10-2008, 05:58 PM
so sick, adidas cleats are ugly, except for the old predators, like the pulsados.
my legends just gave out so im either gonna get vapor 4s or puma v1.08s

02-10-2008, 06:01 PM
Yeah I've worn Preds since the Pred Accelerator in 98. Best cleats ever. I can't hate on these cleats too much because the best player in the world wears them. Cristiano Ronaldo for those who couldn't figure that out.

02-10-2008, 06:02 PM
vapors suck. i went through two pairs in one season cause they kept on ripping. after that i only wore cleats that were made with kangaroo leather(predators in kangaroo are soo comfy). no synthetic materials

02-10-2008, 06:03 PM
the new pumas look good, but for the same price you could get the Vapors . get the 4s.

02-10-2008, 06:06 PM
they need to bring back the vapor K's

02-10-2008, 06:18 PM
The new vapor's are fucking awesome. I rarely play anymore and I want them.

and yeah yeah I've owned vapors, preds, and legends. The Vapors are still sick.

yea i play club soccer at my school too

02-10-2008, 08:32 PM
total 90s ftw. I wear supremacies and they are so comfortable.

but it really all comes down to your footshape and style...if you have really narrow and quick feet then the vapors should be perfect for you, and if you have wide feet (i do) or are more of a power player then something like total 90 lasers would be much better. Those cleats are pretty hideous though, which is usually a bad thing.

nm then your vote counts

02-10-2008, 09:56 PM
I like them personally. I like odd looking shoes. They remind me of my old pair of hyperflights. Mine are babyblue and still kicking. Yellow is nice too.

02-11-2008, 03:02 AM
my vote is the vapors... sooo great w/ the one touch and overall control

champions league is comin up!!!.. w0000

Dont play soccer, but nowadays I dont waste my time with Nike shoes at all. They've gotten way too narrow, and pretty chinsy (sp?) IMO.

The baseball cleats were OK back in the 90's, but like I said, too narrow nowadays. Mizuno or Adidas.

02-11-2008, 07:54 AM
i have narrow feet so they fit well

02-11-2008, 12:27 PM
the best pair of cleats i ever had were puma kings but i have had some legends (the gold ones) for the last 2 years and theyre stil incredible. a few of my friends wore vapors and they dont tear as easily as people are saying if you take care of them. i just hate that theres no heel padding because i get hacked like crazy.

kid buys 200$ predators at our school, sucks nut at soccer....he drops out with his brand new 200$ predators without even finishing try outs.....

02-11-2008, 05:04 PM
i love those kinds of kids. a goalie at my school bought 200(around there) dollar vapors and he is absolutely terrible. he brought them in the day after they arrived for no reason other than to show everybody, and we all just laughed at him. the whole 200 dollar vapors for a goalie thing did make much sense to us, especially since he got cut last year when two first year goalies made it.

02-12-2008, 03:32 PM
same kid called another kid out before tryouts (2 mile run) and was like "are you even in shape to run 2 miles? i havent seen you at conditioning"
about 20 minutes later we all laugh when his 2 mile time is in the 15-17 minute range and the kid he called out finished a good 2 minutes before him....
