Hey everyone in the New England area the second annual reckless skim competition will be held saturday july 22nd at Maguire landing in welfleet massachusetts (otherwise known as lacountes beach) turn out of almost 30 skimmers last year with waves averaging about knee high similar or better conditions are hoped for this year if your are interested please read more about it on http://recklessskim.com or pm me good times and fun competition thanks for readin up and hope to see you there

possibly monetary? im not sure because im just the messenger but i think last year it was like five bux to enter and it was distributed amongst the top three not certain but that is it what i think i remember hearing

so is it all locals or what? i might actually come down from the north shore... this would be my first contenst and i'd prob enter. also, is this beach consistant for good waves? i don't want to drive a few hours for nothin of course..
and since my computer can't watch the competition videos, how'd the person win it last year(what tricks)?

yeah unfortunately we may have to postpone cause several of the guys running it had something more important come up last year i believe the kid who won (ryan mclane of ri) won the heat with both shear number of waves caught and one where he did a 180 shuv-it out to a wave wrapped and finished it off with a floater to ollie 180

oh yeah and ive never seen these beachs with anything less than kneeish swell though sometimes it gets super rocky
