so my ultra vac snapped in august and ive been riding my old board vic foamie. Now i'm deciding to step it up to a s-glass or a carbon. For a while ive been strong with getting a carbon. but now ive thought it over and thought about getting a s-glass instead and save the extra 40 or 50 for pads. so is carbon really worth the extra money? i know carbon is strong and all but i live in NJ and the waves dont get that big usually.
my bro made this same thread and he got some replies that even tex haines(vic owner) sed that carbon is a waste of money wen compared to s glass, being in nj carbon isnt worth it compared to s glass either get s glass

i don't care what anyone says, I will never get anything but carbon again. It's amazing what a little extra stiffness can do for your planing abilities
i respect ur opionion but i dont find it necessary, and brett wat do u like doing , lip smacks airs liners

it'd be your personal riding preference. try riding s-glass then try carbon? see how much flex you like

i have a carbon and i like the stiffness to it, like zbr said, you plane farther with it.

But the carbon looks so sick, and if you do get carbon get it with epoxy resin.

I can plane further on a carbon paulo M (exile) than I can with my vic L polyvac. And the vic is like a f'ing boat.
