FYI: If you'd like to respond, please use the thread in the offtopic forum.

This is a friendly reminder that rules exist to keep order and peace in communities. Skimonline is not exempt from this, and it is not a place for pre-teens to go on a rampage of harassment and internet fighting.

With that in mind, skimonline is a dictatorship in the form of Peluso, INC. Peluso has assigned 4 moderators to keep order and peace within the community because it is growing and we want to see it as a place of fun and relaxation - but more importantly a place of knowledge and information for skimboarding.

Skimboarding discussion is for skimboarding topics and related issues. Keep it clean and informational, please. Sarcasm has always been a key factor in what makes skimonline such a fun place, but there is a line between sarcastic remarks and threatning harassment against certain members.

Offtopic is for whatever is not related to skimboarding, but that gives no one the right to use it for trolling (the act of invoking a negative response from other members to cause spam posting and (a lot of) pointless threads and posts). Give the SQL database a pat on the back and stop trolling on purpose. If you keep doing it you will be banned from skimonline.

Harassment is still a rule and moderators have the free reign to interpret what constitutes harassment. If you are heckling (not harassing) someone in moderation, then you have nothing to worry about. If you are harassing (not heckling) someone for their ethnicity, cultural influences, or just being unfair to another member, you will be banned. Yes, moderators have the right to kick you off skimonline permanently so don't think for a second they can't do anything but verbally warn you. Peluso is the owner, founder, and leader of skimonline, and has appointed certain people certain roles to take care of his creation.

To address the issue of texas skimming, and skimboarding world-wide:

Skimboarding is a sport of many faces: inland skimming and "ocean" skimming. Just because someone is new to the sport and can't do what you do, does not give you the right to harass and belittle another person.

If you do not agree, you can stop coming to this messageboard right now and use other areas of skimonline for your personal enjoyment. We have a wonderful media gallery, valuable links, videos, shop, and information on skimonline.

Myself, and as I understand it, the other moderators along with most of the senior members are tired of the recent trolling, harassment, and overall moral character of the messageboards over the past couple months. So, this will stop.

And, if it doesn't, consequences will follow to the offenders - just like any normal society.

Feel free to private message myself, MapDash, Bart, or 4evrskim: Derek, or Peluso if you have any questions or concerns at all. We don't bite. Unless you provoke. So don't provoke.

Thanks for heeding the warning, because there probably won't be another one.
