Heel Pain

after skimmin for a while i came home took a shower and went to bed, i wake up the next morning and BAM a surge of pain goes through my heel. Has this happend to any of you before....and how do you get rid of it, ive had it for like 2 weeks now

I have gotten that before. I bruised my heel from hitting a shell while I was stepping onto my board.

i got that and it was just a bruise from not running light enough on some hard sand, it took like a week to go fully away

sounds like a bruised heel, ive done it so many times with the hard ass sand here

yep bruised heel. it can suck. and when i have had it, it is almost invisible to the human eye ball.... meaning your heel will not turn purple like a normal bruise, but will be more discomforting than a normal bruise

yeah it sucks so bad, i went skimming on fri and sat and i had to run like a pigeon so my heel wouldent hurt

yeah its probably a bruise but could be a stress fracture like someone said, if you notice after a few more weeks that its still hurting i would go to an orthopaedic doctor get it checked out , mebe an x ray cause if its a stress fracture and you don't know it you can really fuck ur foot up

when i broke a bone in my foot about a year ago ago the doc said i have an extra bone that connects my heel to some other bone.

could be tendonitus of the achilles tendon, i had it on the upper part of my foot and it didnt got away for a month, it hurt so bad

i had that when i was in the 8th grade and i had it for a long time. i finaly went to the doctors and i had achille tendonitis and servers diseases. im sure it is not that but just in case in progresses go get it checked out because i did not and i was in two leg casts for 6 months in a wheelchair

just like everyone else. Prob a bruse. I had one for the longest time and it hurt to walk on and my heel swelled up and i couldnt skim for about a week. but it gets better! =) xoxo

i hate that shit! the gulf has a lot harder sand than the east coast. get it all the time over here, when i go to th east coast never.

yeah u just bruised your heel, my beach is composed of just shells so that shit happens all the time, i think its worse if ur flat footed
