I heard the skim in winter was alright but how cold is the water? I'm going to be there all winter and I'm wondering if I'm going to need a wetsuit.

ya the skim over here is sick in the winter,

and yeah some days the air and water are freezing

shorty would work if u dont care about being a little cold

I use a fullsuit over there. It does get pretty damn cold with the water and air. I've lived in Florida my whole life though so 50s is cold for me.

u can get away with a top
i went the whole winter not using a full suit once to skim surf is a differnt story but ur good man
its not bad..
just be prepared to drive alot and kick alot of sand on ur shit

its cold bro, it gets in the 50's (water ). spring suit it and keep full for windy days just so you can be comfortable. also your only wearing a top if your over 200 pounds and have blubber skin.
