Jesse...and a couple guys in our facebook group were trying to get a sponsor and get it register with the university as an official club. its a lot of paper work, gotta have an adult to sponsor, pay something (i think), and hold a certain number of productive and related events a year.

it seems like they got shit together because there is a site coming...

this is pretty dope. im excited.

but jesse was talking about doing it this year...and coincidently there is a site now...so im pretty sure they did.

well from my view (i am kinda an insider) it's in it's final stages of becoming a club. All the paperwork is done and all that.

The release is later because I am busy with other projects at this point.

That's cool. UF was one of my choices on where to go to school. I am in a junior college right now. After the Spring semester I will have my A.A. in Math & Science, and going to UF for Biochemistry / Molecular Biology was one of my choices. This has heightened the percent of choosing to go there instead of UCF a bit ;) . UCF being easier because it's close to home and I wouldn't have to pay for an apartment! hah!

yeh...thats a dumb choice to pick which college you go to because of a skim club. but go for it. If i could live at home i would be doing it in a second.

I put the ;) hence I was kidding hehe. :p The only reason I would pick UF, is because it is a prestegious school, not because it has a skim club ha. Yeah, UCF is only 30 - 40 minutes from my house. A drive I would definitely make every day to be able to stay at home and pay nothing!!:D

Gator Skim Club is official. I did the paperwork before coming up/in the first week of school, and it is in it's final stages of getting check marks from different authoritative figures.

Much props to Robs at Fidelis/Systematic Media for getting the site up. He is going to be helping us out big time. Tom from Wilbs shoes is also going to be supporting the club. (I'm also gonna try to get some local pizza shop to sponsor us haha)

so if you've got any questions,

I tried to start a skim club at UC Irvine a few years back, but we didnt have the minimum number of people to qualify. :(

Yeah I knew alot of people have tried to start clubs but have been unsuccessful.

oh boy, did you look at the post above yours? I wasnt referring to Dungeons and dragons directly, I was attempting a shot at a joke from the Alltell commercial in which you and Dave are the nerds in the van. Anyways, just forget it. hahaha
