i have a vic poly carbon, when i look at the top of the board at an angle i noticed there are like ten dimples on top of the board, i couldnt feel them when i run my hand over them but i can see em. ive probably used the board around 50 times just to give you an idea of the age of the board.

just curious what they are from

thx

do you grab your board there when you pick it up? your fingers could've made small pressure dings.

nope. basic wear and tear. it'll only be an issue if they actually break through the fiberglass.

No, pressure dings are normal and unless they start delaminating it's not a problem at all. Pressure dings from picking a board up though, what kind of board do you ride skatemore?

When I used to make foam boards, some of my riders would jump on the board hard and make dents. It didn't hurt the board till the dents turn into bubbles, which means the glass delaminated from the foam. When this happens the board sometimes would break. I found out if the dent turned into a bubble, you need to drill two holes at the edge of the bubble and get a syringe less needle and shoot some resin into the holes and put wax paper over it with a heavy weight on it. Once it's glued back down the board will be strong again.=)
