if i had a board i do it cuz i keep my boat at the navesink marina in seabright. is the skiimming good there cuz we hav permission from my grandpas friends that live in seabright to use there beach access

The skim is pretty good on in Sea Bright and that area. Just show up anyway, there are going to be alot of good skimmers there and it should be pretty fun to watch.

A shitshow? I am checking the forcast and it dosent seem that bad at all, it actually looks like it might be fairly good.

I am seeing 4-5 ft seas, 5-10 kt E winds. Partly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s.

Keep your fingers crossed but it looks like its going to be a fun day. Hope to see everybody there.

Same here. But it's going to be low tide at noon and there is no where to surf in SB that I know of. I might just go down to long Branch or something unless Dan gets online and says he is going to Point. I'll figure it out later

My fault, never really skimmed at Sea Bright for a long period of time to notice and I always skim by this one jetty that sucked at low tide most of this summer.

Come to think of it, it wasn't that great at high tide either. It was always the period in between the change from low to high that was good.

Just this bitch jetty in Long Branch. It gets pretty good at high tide and there is a pretty good slope. I usually go there for the day and surf when it's low and skim when it's high. But yeah, I just got home from some movie and depending on what time I wake up and how much traffic there is, I'll probably be skimming around noon till whenever. I have nothing going on with my life till monday at 945 am when I have class.

Low tide is definitely the time to skim sea bright monmouth area. High tide is troughy as fuck.

yea was there today from 10-2:30 riding a green vic white astrodeck
and there was a good crowd of skimmers out lots of local guys who rip from the njskim team, it was fun, waves were setting up nice started to got pretty windy as the day went on hopefully the conditions tomorow

waves were belly high with a a few bigger ones coming through here and there. there were lots of people with cameras. no idea who they were or were the footage is gonna end up. it was an beautiful day, light winds and alot of liners.

I ended up staying South more and missing the contest due to a lazy friend... still skimmed that day though. Winds werent as bad as I thought theyd be and it was around waist... not bad.

nah forth... but i was skimmin with him the day before and the day of the contest around the jetty to the left, and he was insane and should have done better. The waves in the contest just sucked.

Just this one jetty in long branch near west end. It's decent sometimes but not anything to really go out of your where to go too. I just started skimming alot this summer so I'm finding new spots when ever I check out a different beach. I really like sea bright alot though, i had fun at that one jetty.
