And the swell charts on Magic Seaweed. But it looks like a fair amount of wind too. Anybody think the wind might stay further offshore in the storm and only the swell impact us. Its hard to tell, and I know its another 5 or 6 days away but still, Im jonesing for some damn waves. Its September, last September we were getting waves like this on a regular occasion:

Weirdly enough we had a north west swell today. We were out spearing lobster and saw the swell breaking on the reef. Thing was, we saw the swell breaking on the outer reefs and stuff, but then the beach had no swell at all. I mean there's a little bit of deeper outer reefs way way before the beach, but the waves weren't breaking there to mess up the incoming swell so I dont really get it.

Anyways, I found this epic beach on one of the outer islands today, only accesible by boat, but the swell was smacking on there today...

Jupiter Surf whatever was firing...like i said lol.

Nah it was actually pretty deep though, good thigh to waist, but i managed to fuck up every wave. Either on drop i leaned back on my back foot, spun around, or just tried to turn to late and flew out the back and sent my board rocketing out. Was still fun though...i have major rashage and it feels like i almost pulled my groin.

Dont know what you guys did but we had some pretty solid swell on friday and sat. I skimmed on fri, but had to work on sat. So I was stuck watching all the swell from the boat as we fished. It was breaking real nice on some of the surf reefs, and on the beach it was pretty nice too. Only real problem was that the sand was really soft so it was hard to get going. I'd say the highest waves were chest high with most around waist high.

Today though it sucked, slow rollers just pushing onto the beach with major trough...
