robs, did i tell you i shot 78 on the nicklaus last friday. it was on on the back nine. i was even. ive got a tourney there tomorrow. 2 man best ball. its like a hospitality tourney so we get to play/ drink all day for free. the guy im playing with usually shoots mid 80s so we wont win but a free round at nicklaus is sweetness.

yeah its fun. i shot 85 out at bay dunes that monday, then friday, my putter was the bread and butter. i 3 putted once all day.

i think that way sometimes. i work at a nice golf course now and when some of the teenagers come to play or just to hit range balls they are loud, annoying, disrespect the course, but not all are that way. most kids that i play with are very good and shoot in the low 70's. i've been playing since i was 9 and now am 21. i'm a scratch golfer now and hustle old people in their sunday morning games.

i work at ko'olina golf club here in hawaii. since starting work there i have gotten into golf. what kind of clubs are you guys hitting? i have been using the rental clubs (r7 460 driver, r7 3 and 5 fairway woods, r7 3 rescue, r7 irons 4-sw, and a shitty rossa putter; all draw weighted and have stiff graphite shafts). i need to buy some clubs of my own soon though.

k so today i got some irons from work. i got the taylor made rac lt2 irons 3-pw stiff flex steel shafts for 400 even, brand new. i think they will serve as a good enough starting point.

yeah. the next set i get will be a similar shape to the 755.cb titliest irons that are out right now. i demo'd them and liked them a lot. either that or a combo set like the nike pro combos that switch from full cavity back to blade-ish to full blade muscle back as it goes down for more workability.
