A Day In The Life of George Bryan

May 15th, 2014 This day was not much different than any day in George’s life. And, with the exception of 2 kids and a full time job, not much ever seems to  change in the life of this Solag-er. His life still revolves around his greatest passions; family, barrels, and making movies. Click through the photos and see what the… Continue »

Skim Adventure Mainland Mexico With...

By George Bryan This February was my first trip to Melaque, Mexico. I had heard many great things about the waves and local skimboarders, but I was still really impressed by what I saw. You could count on super fun skim waves in front of the hotel every morning and evening, like clockwork, no questions asked. Glassy tall barrels in the… Continue »

Gorgonitas Skim Contest 2012 –...

In early September, our friends from Gorgonitas skim held their annual championship.  After a whole week of ideal conditions, Saturday dawned cloudy, a little windy, and with much larger waves than what was originally forecasted.  This limited the possibilities of participating skimmers, with the large waves breaking far out. Despite the uncontrollable variable of weather, which kept spectators away, the… Continue »

I’ve Seen Better Dayz By Travis...

Morgan Just Wins In France

By Aaron Peluso The first trans-continental UST competition went down over the course of the last week in Seignosse, France. I have been attending skimboarding competitions for more than 25 years now and I can say without a doubt that this event has opened up a door for skimboarding’s future. More than any skimboarding competition I have ever attended, this… Continue »
