HASL Maui Melee Write Up

On June 16, 2012, the Hawaii Amateur Skimboard League made its way to Kihei, Maui for the third contest of the season. The contest was held on the shoreline of Big Beach, Makena, home of the Maui Skimmers. The beach had been firing the entire week prior to the contest and fortunately there were still a few good waves left to be had when contest time came around. It was an all day battle but with great weather and fun waves the Maui Melee proved to be a success.
