For the 6th consecutive year, X3M will be hosting the Melaque Skim Contest, taking place February 25-27. This is the biggest skimboarding event of the year in Mexico; it welcomes riders from all over Mexico and some of the best riders in the world from the United States, France and Brazil. It also marks the start of the Mexican Skim Tour.

This year the contest starts Friday the 25th with a free skim session and later that night at Surfos Bar they’ll be closing entry and making final announcements. Heats will begin Saturday and continue into Sunday.

Melaque is a calm town located on the pacific coast line of Jalisco in Mexico.
