State Beach

The best spot on the coast when the wind is not up and there is no trough or dead water in front of the waves. Straight waves come in ( 2 – 5 ft), while siders are rare. Very strong barrels…This place is a must check place, because at times it is going off. Often good in the summer with a high tide and no wind. Don’t worry about the water being so frigid up here either, it’s not that bad… I like this spot a lot due to its driving barrels and good looking women on weekends.

In downtown Half Moon Bay, go towards the ocean off Highway one on Kelly Ave. where on the corner lies TRES AMIGOS Spanish food (best burrito in town ), take it all the way down the road and you’re there.
